Nora Shah

Mistress of Moots

Hello, I'm Noorulain Shah, but most people know me as Nora — Lexstery's Mistress of Moots. As an advocate, I design challenging moot problems and host interactive sessions to demystify mooting for students and graduates of all levels. Since finishing the Bar and Masters in Law, I've been living the courtroom life as a County Court Advocate, appearing in civil hearings and small claims trials, making persuasive submissions, and sharpening my advocacy skills. Beyond Lexstery, I also volunteer at the Free Representation Unit, where I've quickly developed a strong working knowledge of Personal Independence Payment Appeals and help clients navigate the benefits system with ease. I am passionate about helping others master advocacy, it builds confidence, achieves strong results for clients, and develops the essential skills required at the Bar.
